Actors Shakespeare Company is a professional theatre in residence at New Jersey City University. All actors, stage managers, teaching artists, designers and staff are contract employees of the university and are paid biweekly. ASC at NJCU has received a concession from Actors’ Equity Association during mainstage production weeks.
At this time ASC at NJCU does not provide housing for out of town actors, stage managers or designers.
Internships
ASC at NJCU offers unpaid internships in all areas of theatre design and production: lighting, scenic design, costume design, stage management, production assistance. Please contact Jennifer America at (201) 200-2386 for more information.
